🎮 Top Story: Epic Games Store on Mobile introduces Free Games Program

After launching with just a few games in August 2024, it seems Epic Games is truly gearing up its mobile store efforts this year (and we’ll all be getting free games!).

Both Dungeon of the Endless. Apogee and Bloons TD 6 are currently free on their mobile store, with more free games coming monthly and/or weekly later.

It’s still a tiny store, though, with only 20 third-party games available. But I have a feeling it’ll soon explode - in part thanks to their much lower fees. Epic charges only a 12% revenue cut, whereas Google and Apple both take 30%.

The last real hurdle to overcome seems to be to get the store launched on iOS devices outside of the EU. But for now, grab the free games if you can - they’re great!
