Flappy Bird is back... after 12 years?🐥

🎮 Mobile game “classic” Flappy Bird is back via Epic Games Store - but with a big twist!

After the original Flappy Bird arcade game took over mobile gaming back in 2012, gaining over 50 million downloads and generating $50k per day for its solo developer, the game suddenly disappeared.

But now, a new version with extra game modes is back via the Epic Games Store.

Sounds great, right? Well, the sad twist is that the studio behind this new version has nothing to do with the game’s original creator. They just took the Flappy Bird name because its trademark had expired.

And did the original creator get compensated? Of course not, you silly goose…
