🎮 Top Story: Epic Games Sweden will launch iOS app store in EU
In a blog post from last week, Epic Games announced that they will be launching Fortnite (again) and an Epic Games Store for iOS in Europe later this year.
As I mentioned a few weeks ago when I wrote about official side-loading coming to iOS, this move by Epic has been a long time coming. And it is directly made possible thanks to new EU laws hammering down on "digital gatekeepers".
Now it'll be interesting to see when Microsoft launches their own much-teased app store for Android and iOS. I have a feeling that by this time next year, we'll hardly be able to recognize the app store market. Will it be better for us gamers? Time will tell, but interesting times are ahead for sure.
